Hair Extension Care and Maintenance

All hair extensions require maintenance. It varies per method but generally is required approximately every 6-8 weeks to restore the extensions to how they were when originally fitted, removing any thinning or loose bonds and refitting.

Our natural hair still sheds and gets caught within the micro ring/fusion bond so maintenance is essential so dead hair can be removed. Not removing the dead hair over long periods of time will lead to matting.

Maintenance ensures your extensions will be looking their best throughout their life. You will also need hair extension products i.e shampoo and conditioners and the correct brush. You can also purchase an extra conditioning treatment revitaliser, protein spray, leave in treatment and thermal defence products and Argan Oil with Keratin. All our products contain no sodium so will not break down the bonds or reduce the quality of the hair extensions. Using normal shampoos will strip and dry out the extensions.
